"Yo también soy la hija de nadie / Solo cuento con un apellido." ( I too am the daughter of no one / I only have one last name.) This project honors the quiet defiance of those who bloom in the absence of roots-those who carry their mother's last name like a crown and survive the silence of abandonment. Rooted in Yolanda del rio's "La Hija de Nadie", these tender rosebuds evoke the stories of daughters born into erasure, raised in resistance. Each petal folds around a truth unsaid-yet the flower still reaches for light.
